Is it worth it?

Do you find fulfillment in a hit, or crossed off to-do lists?
The alcoholics only wish they worked as hard as you did.
Worthwhile be the time spent, providing for your kids.

Or is it?

Sacrificed your kiddy dreams: purchased the world, &
consumed what’s worth those mindless streams.
Always putting work towards buying things.

Or is it,

A bit of fallacy, for you were taught,
so factually, that you forgot your masterpiece.
Sad afterthought, no, actually.
